 Camp Elkanah is a Christian camp in Northeast Oregon. We’ve been around since 1956 offering summer camps, fun events, and great facilities for rental groups. Camp Elkanah is proud to belong to two excellent organizations: CB Northwest and the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA)

Mission Statement:
To use the camp setting to foster spiritual growth in the lives of individuals and the local church.
 
Vision Statement:
 
We want to see the gospel transform lives, churches and communities as a result of time spent at Camp Elkanah.
 
Core Values:
 
God-centered: We will honor and glorify God and exalt our Savior Jesus Christ as we live in faithful obedience to his word.

Church-driven: Our primary focus is to serve, strengthen, and equip the churches of the Blue Mountain Conservative Baptist Association. As time and resources permit, we will also serve other churches and users who are in agreement with our Core Values.

Stewardship: We will be good stewards of Camp Elkanah’s distinctive setting and facilities, and we will use them to minister in using the unique camp setting.

Relationally-oriented: We seek to deepen Christ-honoring relationships at all levels for everyone associated with the camp – individuals, families, churches, and all camp staff (full-time and part-time, paid and volunteer).

Positive atmosphere: The camp atmosphere will emphasize honest and integrity as essential elements in developing relationships of Christian grace and trust.

Prayerful dependence: We will openly and honestly seek God’s will in all decision-making and actions.

Faith and trust: We will trust God and will act in faithful obedience in implementing His direction for all camp plans an d actions.

Fiscally responsible: The camp will be fiscally responsible by remaining debt-free and by not accumulating an excessive cash reserve.

Biblically-based: We will operate in obedience to clear scriptural commands and biblical principles. Additionally, we will uphold the Bible as the Word of God in all of our events and programming.

Leadership development: Camp Elkanah will create and take advantage of existing opportunities to train and mentor next generation leaders in the church.

Gospel focus: We will strive to keep the gospel at the center of all of our activities with the belief that it alone has the power for salvation and maturation.
